Tourism and Hospitality Management Level 4,5,6
Overview
The objective of the Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management qualification is to support learners’ development as
managers within the tourism and hospitality industry. The qualification enables learners to develop their knowledge of
theories applicable to management in the tourism and hospitality industry. It enables learners to make well-informed and
confident decisions about the management of work areas in the tourism and hospitality industry. Successful completion of the
Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management qualification will provide learners with the opportunity to progress to further
study or employment.
For entry onto any of the Levels of Diploma in Business
Management qualification, learners must possess
preceding qualification as requisite for succeeding levels.
For a Level 4 qualification, learners must possess Relevant
NQF/QCF/RQF Level 3 Award/Diploma or at the level of
GCE/GCSE or equivalent qualification. For Level 5, learner
must possess Level 4 or its equivalent recognized
qualification. For Level 6, Learners must possess Level 5 or
equivalent qualification
Qualifications at RQF Level 4 equivalent to Higher National
Certificate or year 1 of UK bachelors r’s degree. Level 5 is equivalent
HND and Year 2 of a 3 year UK bachelors. Level 6 is equivalent to a
Bachelors Degree, PGCE, Graduate Diploma or Graduate
Certificates.
